Tesla and Lakhovsky

Greatest Electrical Pioneer of all was Nikola Tesla, who was brilliant inventor despite the fact that he had little formal education. Nikola (1856-1943), electrical inventor, was born in Yugoslavia , educated at the polytechnical school at Graz and at University of Prague . He conceived new type of electric motor having no commutator, as d.c. motors have, but works on principle of rotating magnetic field produced by polyphase alternating currents.

Constructing a prototype, he found nobody interested in Europe . Emigrated to U.S. 1884 and worked briefly and unhappily with Thomas Edison. He established own lab and obtained patents on polyphase motors, dynamos, transformers for a complete a.c. power system. He formed an alliance with George Westinghouse, who bought polyphase patents for $1 million plus royalty. With Westinghouse, engaged in struggle against Edison to convince public of efficiency and safety of a.c. over d.c. He succeeded in getting a.c. accepted as the electric power system worldwide which remains to this day.

Also with Westinghouse, he lit the Chicago World’s Fair with fluorescent lamps, he built Niagara Falls hydropower plant, and installed systems at Colorado silver mines, other industries. By turn of the century was lifted to celebrity status comparable to Edison ‘s as media promoted him along with the expanding electric power industry. Experimenting independently in his Manhattan lab, he developed and patented scores of electric devices based on his superior capabilities of high-potential, high-frequency currents: Tesla coil, radio, high-frequency lighting, x-rays, and most importantly germane to our topic – electrotherapeutic devices.

His High-frequency inventions were ignored by established technology, as were disk turbine, free-energy receiver, other inventions. Shut out by media except for birthday press conferences. At these predicted microwaves, TV, beam technologies, cosmic-ray motor, interplanetary communications, and wave-interference devices that since have been named the “Tesla howitzer” and the “Tesla shield.” In the 1930’s he was involved in wireless power

projects in Quebec . His last birthday media appearance was in 1940. He died privately and mysteriously at 87 in New York hotel room from no apparent cause. Personal papers, including copious lab notes, impounded by U.S. Government, surfaced many years later at a Tesla Museum in Belgrade , Yugoslavia . Of these notes, only a fragment, Colorado Springs Notes, has been published by the Museum.Another one of the electrical engineers was a Russian emigrant, Georges Lakhovsky who made observations of the effects of electricity and radio waves on living organisms. His first book, THE SECRET OF LIFE, was first published in 1935 during the same month Hitler drove his hordes into Prague . The book appeared later in Spanish, French, Italian, and finally in English. Many of his theories were, of course, ignored in conventional medicine as in 1938, the Flexner Committee reported to the US Congress it report on medical education and branded electrotherapy as “quackery.” Many of Lakhovsky’s theories were only recently confirmed by Becker in his book THE BODY ELECTRIC, published in 1987.The Italians were the first investigators to seriously study his new science, RADIOBIOLOGY, and put it to the test in laboratories and clinics. It resulted in astonishing photographs of regenerated tissues in plants and human beings. It became indisputable fact that Lakhovsky was the first serious, scientific investigator on the use of high-frequency electromagnetic waves in biology. The first international Congress of Radiobiology was held in Venice in 1934. A leading authority on electrotherapy, Dr. E.P. Cumberbatch wrote: “Although it had frequently been observed that the short Hertzian waves could produce heat at a distance from the transmitter, the first scientific investigation from a biological point of view was made by Lakhovsky and his colleagues who published a paper in 1924 on the effects of very short waves on cancer in plants.” Mark Clement later wrote: “In this country, owing mainly to the inauspicious time at which Lakhovsky’s major work was published, very little interest has been shown on the part of those best qualified to judge of its merits. The medical profession, whose conservatism is the most formidable barrier to progress, has been notoriously slack in investigating the new radiobiological methods of treating disease as originated by Lakhovsky.”Lakhovsky built a device called the multiple wave oscillator, which today is the basis of for electrotherapy technology. Lakhovsky’s first units were built on the basis of the d’Arsonval effect, low voltage, high current coil transmission. The units were bulky and naturally ran hot. In 1931, frustrated with the design, he asked Tesla for help in design, which he complied. Tesla traveled to Europe where the friendship was established.Ten years later Lakhovsky traveled to New York City to visit his friend Tesla. Lakhovsky was mysteriously hit by a limousine and knocked high into the air. The three men in the limousine took Lakhovsky to a hospital against his demands to be left alone. Three days later he died in the hospital. Who only knows the rest of the story ?

FREQUENCY SPECIFIC MICRO-CURRENT

————————————————————————-

Living matter is highly organized and exceedingly sensitive
to the information conveyed by coherent signals.

“Each cell, tissue and organ has an ideal resonant frequency that coordinates its activities.”  -James Oschman, PhD Dover, NH

————————————————————————-

What is Microcurrent?   Microcurrent is a very faint electric current that is so small it is measured in millionths of an amp (microamps).  While by comparison a TENS unit and most other electro-therapy devices produce currents that are 1000 times greater (milliamps).  Human cells generate a current that is in the microamp range which is why you can’t feel it – the current is so low it doesn’t stimulate the sensory nerves.  Microcurrent therapy has been in use for over 20 years.

How does it work?   Microcurrent is a physiological electric modality that increases ATP (energy) production in the cells of your body. This dramatically increases the tissue’s healing rate. The immediate response to the correct microcurrent frequency suggests that other mechanisms are involved as well. The exact effects or changes that result from microcurrent frequencies have not been proven because no biopsies have been done after microcurrent has been applied.  Nevertheless, the changes in the tissue are unmistakable; scars will often suddenly soften; trigger points often become less painful; swelling often drains within minutes when the “correct” frequency is applied.  In many situations the changes seen seem to be long lasting and in many cases permanent.

ATP, or Adenosine Triphosphate, is the universal energy currency for all living things. Every cell in the world uses ATP for energy. It consists of a base (adenine) and three phosphate groups. It can be made many different ways, but mainly it is made by cellular respiration.

“Microcurrent increases the production of ATP, your own chemical energy, by up to 500%.  It also increases protein synthesis and waste product removal.”  -Cheng, 1987

Why do the frequencies on the machine need to be changed?
Specific frequencies (FSM) seem to induce specific effects on cells and other tissues.  For example there is a specific frequency for nerves, a different frequency for muscles, another for tendons, etc.  FSM that are thought to be good for cells, muscles, tendons, and nearly every aspect of your body are available.  In addition to each tissue having its own unique frequency, there is a specific frequency for each condition. Thus there is a frequency for inflammation, a different frequency for scars, another to promote secretions, etc.  To address the different processes required by the tissue(s) involved, we need to know what is the underlying mechanism or injury. The Wellness Pro Electrotherapy Generator is pre-programmed for many of these specifically targeting pain and this technology has been shown to enhance ATP production.

How do the frequencies work?  It is believed that FSM works on the principle of biologic resonance.  A singer can shatter a glass when the note resonates with the crystal structure of the glass.  Microcurrent frequencies seem to be able to resonate with biologic tissue when the correct frequency is used.  Once the tissue is changed and stable, it seems to be able to stay in the new configuration with proper nutritional support and detoxing.  Animal research confirms that the frequency to reduce inflammation reduces inflammation by 62% in a mouse model.  Prescription drugs reduce inflammation by 45% in the same mouse research.  The FSM reduced inflammation in other studies almost immediately as well.

Trigger points:  When an area of muscle or fascia gets damaged either by trauma or repetitive stress, local areas of tenderness or nodules may be found that either cause pain or referral to other areas.  By compression, stretching, and/or strain-counter strain with FSM microcurrent therapy, soft tissue pain generators can be eliminated.  Your problem may be caused or exacerbated by poor biomechanics.  If this is the case, postural therapy and exercises for strengthening may be required.

What about nutritional supplements?  The body will heal itself by mechanical and electrical means.  Nutritional support may help you maintain the improvement by supporting cellular health and detoxification of the tissues. A holistic approach is required including detoxing, cleansing, nutrition, supplementation, exercise and plenty of pure water.

Do the benefits last?  Every patient responds individually but the changes to the muscles seem to be long lasting.  About 60% to 80% of the changes created in one treatment last until the next treatment, about four to seven days.  Your muscles are used to being the way they are and may return to the old configuration if not treated again.  Although patients have had permanent changes in one treatment, the average number of treatments depends on the complexity of the problem.  Nutritional support should be tailored to your condition to help create lasting change.

Is there any risk?  Your health/well being should always be your first concern.  There is no record of any permanent harm being done to anyone treated with Frequency Specific Microcurrent.  Although not known to be dangerous, microcurrent is rarely used in patients with pacemakers or during pregnancy.  The biggest side effect is using the microcurrent for something that may need to be addressed by a different method.  Delaying appropriate treatment is always a concern when the condition does not improve.

What are the side effects?  Resonance appears to change the muscle tissue, removing long stored waste products and increasing cellular metabolism so quickly that there may be a detoxification reaction after treatment.  The side effects can include nausea, fatigue, drowsiness, or a temporary increase in pain or a flu-like feeling.  The side effects usually start about 90 minutes after treatment and may last up to 24 hours.  Most experience no adverse side effects.  Some people greatly increase range of motion and physical activity causing them to have temporary symptoms in muscles and joints near the treated area caused by the previous lack of use.

What can I do about the side effects?  Liver detoxification pathways deal with the by-products from the muscles.  Not only should you be well hydrated with plenty of pure water before FSM, you should drink at least two quarts of purified water in the two hours following FSM.  If you feel the side effects return, drink more water, take additional supplements and it should pass fairly quickly. Some treatments do not produce a detox reaction.

What Frequency Specific practitioners say:  “As an internist, I have been taught that healing takes time and requires patience.  In my 20 years in medicine I have never experienced any treatment or therapy that provides relief and results as quickly as Frequency Specific Microcurrent.  I have been amazed and pleased.”
– Robert Lerman, MD, PhD Gig Harbor, WA

“Frequency Specific Microcurrent has changed my practice and the lives of my patients.  I recommend it to anyone.”
-Robin Finseth, D.C. Portland, OR

“Microcurrent creates a change in the tissue that is immediate.  It has been a valuable part of our treatment plan for patients with nerve and muscle pain.”

FSM DETAILED EXPLANATION
A Proposed Explanation of the
Energetic Nature of Biological Systems

The explanation of the effects of specific frequencies on specific tissues and conditions must start with a quantum view of physical tissue instead of a Newtonian or mechanical view. Physical tissue is a collection of biochemicals which are formed, folded and aligned in particular configurations to create a biological / biochemical / bioelectric system. However, if you look deeper, down to the molecular level, then even deeper into the subatomic level, you will discover bits of energy that is vibrating at great speeds. Electromagnetic bonds hold this energy together in an energetic relationship. If you were magically able to make yourself small enough to view molecules at the subatomic level, you would likely discover that there is far greater space being occupied by energy, than by the matter of the actual atoms. This energy may “behave” as particles, or it may behave as waves. “In the quantum world classical particles such as electrons are at the same time waves, and waves can do things that particles cannot do.” (Oschman, 1996)

Now allow your imagination to go deeper. Question: “What could be present deep within the spaces inside those pieces of energy?” If there is an electromagnetic field deep within those bits of energy, could that electromagnetic field hold patterns that would be characteristic of specific events that had occurred which could have been either traumatically physical or emotional? If this were true, then this would explain many things. It would explain how the effects of physical injury remain in the tissue long after the tissue should have healed.

The study of cells in a conventional biological and organic chemistry approach, usually views cells as a membrane filled with little organs (called organelles), which process reactions through simple diffusion. Again, as we go deeper we find a more detailed explanation. “The cell is filled with a microtrabecular lattice that forms the ground substance within the cell. All of the organelles are suspended and interconnected by the microtrabeculae. Glycoproteins extend across the cell surface from the cell interior to the exterior. These proteins connect with the filamentous network within the cell. The filamentous network is a crystalline gel lined by water molecules and conveys and stores current, charge and vibrational information.” (Oschman 1997) Now if we were to introduce a concept that there is a “continuum,” between the brain and the rest of the body through the perineurium. Then add the idea that the electromagnetic field within the bits of energy can store energetic vibrational or frequency patterns of past traumatic events. This could explain how emotional trauma and memory is “stored” in physical tissue and then affects physical function.

Dr. James Oschman, a Ph.D. biophysicist has published extensively on the scientific basis of energy medicine. He wrote an article in 1996 on the scientific basis of energy medicine. Here he describes Szent-Gyorgyi’s suggestion that the proteins in the body are semiconductors. While this idea was vigorously opposed, it was eventually shown to be entirely correct. Virtually all of the molecules forming the living matrix are semiconductors. Dr Oschman quoted Szent-Gyorgyi: “Molecules do not have to touch each other to interact. Energy can flow through the electromagnetic field…the electromagnetic field, along with water, forms the matrix of life. Water can form structures that transmit energy.” (Szent-Gyorgyi 1988)

The hydrogen ions aligned along the crystalline gel that forms the intracellular matrix form tetrahedral structures with space for four electrons. The semiconductor function includes electrons and spaces where electrons are absent in an outer shell. The spaces where electrons are missing are relatively positive in charge. The relative positive charges serve to pull the negatively charged electrons along and move current through the tissue quickly, almost instantly. The electromagnetic field created by the crystalline gel and the water molecules forms the matrix that can convey and sore charge, current and vibrational information.

Dr. Oschman goes on to say, “Every part of the body, including all of the molecules so thoroughly studied by modern science…form a continuously interconnected semiconductor electronic network. Each component of the organism, even the smallest part, is immersed in and generates a constant stream of vibratory information. Complete health corresponds to total interconnection. Accumulated physical and/or emotional trauma impairs the interconnections. When this happens, the body’s defense and repair systems become impaired and disease has a chance to take hold. Acupuncture and other energy therapies restore and balance the vibratory circuitry, with obvious and profound benefits.”

Proposed mechanism of how
Frequency Specific Microcurrent may be working

Let’s begin with some basics. A wavelength is a continuous wave of energy and goes side to side or up and down, much like if you were to take a pencil on a piece of paper and draw a wavy line going up and down, up and down in an EQUAL pattern. Radio waves broadcasted from a radio or TV station, or a Ham radio or CB radio, all use electronic waves. Some Ham Radio waves have wavelengths that can be as tall as 80 meters (about the height of four large or six shorter telephone poles). Other Ham Radio waves can move up and down in much smaller heights, like 70 centimeters (about 27 inches). While biological wavelengths in the human body are extremely small in comparison, the principle is the same.

Now let’s hold on to any specific wavelength (or height of a wave) for an example. (IE let’s use a wave height of about 70 Cm, but vary the frequency of how often that wave goes up and down in a given distance.) “Hertz” is a measurement of frequency or electronic vibration of a wavelength, and is abbreviated “Hz.” Does the wavelength go up and down several times in a short space (higher frequency / higher Hz), or less often (lower frequency / lower Hz)? We measure the frequency of how often the wave goes up and down by measuring the distance between the highest points of each up-stroke of that wavelength. AM radio waves involve a specific wavelength / wave height, FM radio involves a different wavelength, TV another, and so on. Within each wavelength area, AM, FM, etc, we can dial in a specific frequency to obtain a specific AM or FM radio station, TV station, etc. Thus, the frequency becomes extremely “specific” to locate your favorite radio station, etc.

This is much the same with “Frequency Specific Microcurrent.” The actual wave height is extremely small on the subatomic level. We use a constant wavelength, but we vary the frequency. Frequencies available with our current electronic Microcurrent units allow us to dial in frequencies as low as 0.01 Hz, and as high as 999.0 Hz. Through literature from the early 1900’s and again in the 1930’s, and again in the 1970’s – 1990’s up to this day, clinical trials have been performed on literally several thousand patients that prove on a clinical level that certain specific frequencies can and do effect specific biological, emotional, and energetic levels in the human body.

We believe Homeopathy works much in the same manner, involving specific frequencies of a specific homeopathic remedy, which we try to match to a specific defect within the patient. We hope by introducing the correct homeopathic remedy, or frequency, that we can obtain the desired biological or emotional change within that patient. Microcurrent allows us to continually change the frequencies when needed to allow the practitioner to “follow” the patient’s needs at the moment while we try to remove “layers” of conditions we hope to affect. Medicine is not just one item but is usually composed of several sub layers. Removing layers of a particular complaint is much like peeling an onion; one layer at a time, or one frequency at a time, but able to change frequencies as we progress in that treatment period. We can liken Frequency Specific Microcurrent on to a form of “electronic homeopathy.”

A “micro” current (microamp = uA) is a measurement of electricity that is so small that it is below the ability of our nerves to feel the current. It is at a magnitude of current that is very close to the current that our bodies produce. There is an electrical charge within each of our bodies. This is simple to understand when you consider that the electrons that vibrate around a nucleus of an atom, are charged particles. Electrical current is measurable within the human body or any other biological system. With our current Frequency Specific Microcurrent units we are able to dial in microamp settings from as low as 20 microamps to as high as 600 microamps. This variation allows us to tailor each treatment to the energetic nature of the patient being treated, the amount of body tissue the current must pass through, the energetic nature of the condition we are attempting to correct, and the energetic nature of the tissue itself.

Microcurrent is an electrical treatment modality providing current in millionths of an ampere that has the ability to relieve pain, increase the rate of wound healing, increase protein synthesis, stimulate the regeneration of injured tissue, stimulate lymphatic flow, relieve myofascial trigger points, and change scar tissue.

An ampere (amp) is the measure of electron movement or current flow past a fixed point over time. Microcurrent is current delivered at a rate of 1 microampere (uA) which equals 1/1000 of a milliamp, that is, one one-thousandth of one one-thousandth of an amp or 1 millionth of an ampere. 1000 Microamps =1 Milliamp. The current flows at a physiologic rate. It is delivered on the same scale as the current your body produces on its own in each cell. Traditional electrotherapy units such as TENS, interferential, high volt, and sine deliver milliamps. They can cause muscle contraction and Microcurrent cannot. Microcurrent is sub sensory and cannot be felt while it is being delivered because there is not enough current to stimulate the sensory receptors.

Frequency Specific Microcurrent uses specific frequencies at a level of electrical current that closely match the current of the human body. Given this explanation, and the theory of electromagnetic fields within our cells, and backing this all up with the science of homeopathy which as been around since the early 1840’s, then back this up with all the past and current clinical trials, gives us some very solid evidence of the value and understanding of Frequency Specific Microcurrent.

What does Frequency Specific Microcurrent do?

Frequency Specific Microcurrent increases ATP production my 500%. In a study done by Ngok Cheng, M.D. entitled “The effects of Electric Current on STP generation, Protein Syntheses and Membrane transport in Rat Skin.” ATP production increased five times with currents from 50uA to 1000uA. With currents exceeding 1000uA ATP production leveled and with 5000uA ATP production was reduced slightly. Microcurrent was also shown to increase protein synthesis and amino acid transport.

Microcurrent applied to injured tissue supports the natural current flow in the tissue, allowing cells in the traumatized area to regain their capacitance. Trauma affects the electrical potential of the damaged tissue. This injured area has a higher electrical resistance than the surrounding tissue. This decreases electrical conductance through the injured area, and decreases cellular capacitance, leading to impairment of the healing process and inflammation. When Microcurrent is applied, resistance is reduced, allowing bioelectricity to flow through and reestablish normal function. This process helps to initiate and perpetuate the many biochemical reactions that occur in healing.

Principles of Biologic Resonance

How can specific frequencies create immediate changes in specific tissues to neutralize specific conditions? To answer this question we have to look at the principles of biologic resonance. Think about a singer, Julie Andrews in Victor Victoria, singing a prolonged note towards a crystal champagne glass. The note resonates with the binding energy that holds the crystal together, causing the crystal to come apart and the glass to shatter. That is the essence of biologic resonance. It is more complicated than that in biologic tissue but the basic concept applies. Conditions that have affected the tissue over time form patterns that are held in the crystalline structure of the gel substance that forms the cell matrix and the interconnections between all of the cells and membranes in the body.

In his book Vibrational Medicine, Richard Gerber, M.D. describes the process in this way:

“Resonance is a phenomenon which occurs throughout nature. At the level of the atom, we know that electrons whirl about the nucleus in certain energetically defined orbits. In order to move an electron from a lower to a higher orbit, a quantum of energy with very special frequency characteristics is required. An electron will only accept energy of the appropriate frequency to move from one energy level to another. If the electron falls from the higher to the lower orbit, it will radiate energy of that very same frequency. This required atomic frequency is referred to as the “resonant frequency.” The phenomenon of resonance is the principle behind the imaging systems of MRI and EMR scanning. Atoms and molecules have special resonant frequencies that will only be excited by energies of very precise vibratory characteristics. For instance, the singer who is able to shatter a wineglass by delivering a high amplitude note does so by singing in the precise resonant frequency of the glass.”

“Another definition of resonance has to do with the phenomenon of energy exchanged between tuned oscillators. If two perfectly tuned Stradivarius violins are placed at opposite ends of a small room and we pluck the E string of one violin, the sister violin will begin to vibrate and “sing” in harmony. The reason that this occurs is because the E strings of the violins are carefully tuned and responsive to a particular frequency. The E strings can accept energy in the E frequency because that is their resonant frequency.”

“The human mind / body / spirit complex is the holistic expression and sum total of a wide spectrum of interactive energy systems. These energetic factors include the bioenergetic currents of cellular semiconductors, and also the subtle magnetic currents of primary meridian flow.” (Gerber; 1988)

James Oschman, Ph.D. describes Herbert Frolich’s work in his 1996 article in the Journal of Bodywork and Movement Therapies. Frolich worked in the Department of Physics at Liverpool. In the late 1960’s Frolich predicted, on the basis of quantum physics that the living matrix must produce coherent or laser-like oscillations. This prediction was confirmed in a number of laboratories. From the work of Frolich and others, we know that all parts of the living matrix set up vibration that move about within the organism, and that are radiated into the environment. These vibrations or oscillations occur at many different frequencies, including visible and near-visible light frequencies. These are not subtle phenomena; they are large or even gigantic, in scale. Moreover their effects are not trivial because living matter is highly organized and exceedingly sensitive to the information conveyed by coherent signals. Each cell, tissue and organ has an ideal resonant frequency that coordinates its activities. By manipulation and balancing the vibratory circuits, complementary therapists are able to directly influence the body’s systemic defense and repair mechanisms. The molecular web is more that structure. It is a continuous vibratory network. As such, it presents possibilities of profound biological and clinical significance. (Oschman, 1996)

Principles of Energy Wells and Stable States

When the patient’s condition is stable and the body metabolism and mechanics will support the change in condition, the effects created by the frequencies are quite long lasting. When multiple treatments are done, each visit produces some results that are lasting and each subsequent treatment focuses on unresolved problems. In order to explain how such effects can be immediate and then become permanent we have to look at the principles of energy wells and stable states of biochemical structures.

Think of substances that can exist in more than one state such as water. When you apply energy to water that is in the form of ice at 0 degrees centigrade, it becomes liquid water. But the surrounding temperature has to be above 0 degrees for water to remain as liquid water. If you heat the water and turn it into vapor as steam it will remain steam as long as the temperature of the system stays above 100 degrees centigrade. The surrounding system has to be supportive of the change in energy state. In biological tissue we have the concept of energy wells from thermodynamics. In biochemistry we have the basic six-hydrocarbon-chain that was stable in a “chair” or in a “boat” configuration. The exact same atoms are configures in a different form; both forms are stable depending on the energetic milieu in which they exist. When you apply energy to the system, the configuration changes and the form becomes stable in its new configuration as long as the system is supportive of the new state.

It is much the same in our observed cases. The changes in tissue are lasting to various degrees. We have found that if the patient is basically healthy with a simple chronic myofascial pain problem, regardless of chronicity the improvement will persist without any nutritional intervention after minimal treatment. If the patient has nutritional deficiencies of functional or emotion stresses on the system, the improvement will last between one and fourteen days. In order to make the improvement lasting, more than Microcurrent must be performed. Conditions such as oxidative stress, dysbiosis, leaky gut, mineral deficiencies, biochemical instability, deconditioned muscles and emotional and constitutional stress must be addressed. The application of Microcurrent creates a rapid recovery; the application of the principles of functional medicine, nutrition support and exercise allow the recovery to persist.

The model for how and why frequencies relate to specific tissues and conditions was well stated by George Vithoulkas.

Electromagnetic fields are characterized by the phenomenon of vibration. As electrons race around atomic nuclei, they first move in one direction then another, as viewed by an external observer. This oscillation back and forth occurs at a specific frequency, which is determined by the type of sub-atomic particle and its level of energy. For our purposes however the significant point is that everything exists in a state of vibration, and every electromagnetic field is characterized by vibration, and every electromagnetic field is characterized by vibrational rates (or frequencies), which can be measured. The human organism is no exception. To grossly over simplify a highly complex situation one can visualize an individual human being as existing at a particular vibrational frequency which may change dynamically every second depending on the mental state of the person, internal or external stresses, illness, etc. The electromagnetic field is very likely the “vital force” that Hahnemann (the father of homeopathy) referred to.

Once a morbidic stimulus has affected the electromagnetic field of a person, things may progress in two ways. If the person’s constitutional state is quite strong and the harmful stimulus weak, the electromagnetic field changes vibration rate only slightly and only for a short periods of time. The individual is not aware that anything has happened at all.

But if the stimulus is powerful enough to overwhelm the vital force, the electromagnetic field undergoes a greater change in vibrational rate, and effects are eventually felt by the individual. The symptoms of a disease are nothing but reactions trying to rid the organism of earlier disturbances on a dynamic electromagnetic level. (George Vithoulkas 1979)

Electromed Pioneers

History of Electrotherapy

Pain is the symptom which most often causes one to seek out medical care. Acute pain is pain usually caused by a recent injury or illness, be it physical or psychosomatic. Typically, it helps to alert us when something is wrong. This type of pain usually lasts a few days to months, until the problem which first caused it is resolved. Chronic pain is pain that persists or recurs for a prolonged period of time. This is the type of pain which stems from ailments such as arthritis and other joint problems, certain back conditions, injuries and accidents, and many other problems concerning the nerves, muscles, and bones but also including psychosomatic disturbances. The experience of pain varies widely between individuals, making its exact definition unclear to this day.

The treatment of pain, naturally, was the first interest in electrotherapy and electromedical research. For centuries electricity has been a challenge to scientists. They have long known that it exists, and have discovered how to generate it on a large scale, but found it difficult to explain exactly what electricity is. That remains even to this day in the orthodox, scientific fields. Around 600 BC, the Greeks found that by rubbing an ‘electron’ (a hard Fossilized resin that today is known as Amber) against a fur cloth, it would attract particles of straw. This strange effect remained a mystery for over 2000 years, until, around AD 1600, when Dr William Gilbert investigated the reactions of amber and magnets and first recorded the word ‘Electric’ in a report on the theory of magnetism. Gilbert’s experiments led to a number of investigations by many pioneers in the development of electricity technology over the next 350 years.

The earliest references to the use of electricity in medicine was the use of the Mediterranean torpedo fish, a variety of electric ray. Aristotle and the historian Pliny both referred to the effect of this fish. Scironius Largus described it application for the treatment of gout. Dioscorides, the famous physician who founded the Western Materia Medica, Galen, and Paul of Aegina advised treatment by electric shock from this fish for the treatment of headache.

In 1650, von Guericke built an electrostatic machine containing a sulfur ball rubbed by hand. The first recorded observation of the use of electricity specifically for medical purposes in Europe was attributed to Kratzenstein, professor of medicine at Halle . Jallabert, professor of physics at Geneva , is said to have been the first electrotherapist, for in 1747 he effected some improvement in a locksmith’s arm that had been paralyzed for 15 years. Jallabert noted that when sparks were drawn from the arm, muscle contractions were noted.

Electromed History

A BRIEF HISTORY OF ELECTROMEDICINE

Electromedicine, or the use of electrical modalities to treat physical ailments, is considered one of the oldest and most documented sciences known. Medical professionals of ancient Greece learned that the electrical impulses emitted from electric eels in clinical foot baths relieved pain and produced a favorable influence on the blood circulation. Doctors Largus and Dioscorides (cc 46 AD) documented substantial therapeutic results with electrical currents in circulatory disorders and in the management of pain from neuralgia, headache, and arthritis.

In the 1700s, many European physicians used controlled electrical currents from electrostatic generators almost exclusively for numerous medical problems involving pain, trauma and circulatory disorders. Also during that period, Benjamin Franklin documented pain relief by using electrical currents for conditions such as “frozen shoulder.”

PARTICLE REGENERATION THERAPY

Particle Regeneration is based on a principle embodying an arrangement, or correct order of events, which when applied will lead to re-impressing of the vital living particles that permeate all life and govern and regulate growth or decay. This living particle, discovered in 1864 by Professor Antoine Bechamp, was named the “Microzyma”, meaning little body or small ferment. He found it to be physiologically imperishable. It lives on and returns to the soil it came from when our bodies die. It has the ability to adapt to any circumstance while maintaining its purpose: to enhance and produce life, whether for the host or for itself.

Bechamp stated that the Microzyma was thoroughly impressionable, or the thing living is an organism capable of an impression. He went on to say the cells of the body can be destroyed and die, but the Microzyma, being perpetually alive, only changes. This is because the Microzyma is the vital unit of created life and endowed with the amazing ability to create its own environment for survival. His findings are described fully in his book “Sange” (The Blood).

Professor Bechamp’s theories were verified just over 100 years later by Gaston Naessens, a French scientist in Quebec, Canada. A book written by Chrustofer Bird tells the story about Gaston Naessens work and the development of his powerful microscope. The microscope was able to view and photograph this cycle of particle regeneration and degeneration as postulated by Bechamp in the year of 1864.

By 1910, approximately 50% of all U.S. physicians used electro medicine in their practice daily. Unfortunately for the science, an incorrect and unfair report emerged at this time. This report, produced by powerful special interest groups, discredited the value of both electro medicine and nutrition in medical practice. With fear of condemnation from certain medical institutions that were funded by these special interest groups, almost all American physicians, being politically and financially influenced, abandoned electro medicine and nutrition from their practices. Although nutrition has in recent years re-established itself as a credible medical discipline in the U.S., electromedicine continues to face both the same special interest groups and the widespread prevailing misconceptions about the science.

MODERN CLINICAL ELECTROMEDICINE

As a consequence of this occurrence in the United States, most electro medical treatments or electrical stimulation therapies were developed in Europe, accepted by the medical establishment there, and transferred in varying degrees of speed and acceptance to the U.S. Today, hundreds of doctors and medical researchers worldwide are investigating electro medicine as both an effective alternative to traditional methods of treatment and an avenue for discovering new possibilities for treating conditions such as spinal cord injury, muscular restoration, nerve regeneration, brain stimulation, bladder disorders, heart disease, tumors, and other chronic catastrophic diseases and disorders.

PHOTONEONIC PRINCIPLE

There is an order of events is known as the “EON” principle, consisting of three simultaneous factors that “will” a healthy impression of the living particle – the “Microzyma”:

1. Electricity – frequencies of harmonic light and sound.

2. Oxygenation – baths, controlled deep breathing, infusions, oxygenated drinks.

3. Nutrition – mostly fresh food and some natural supplements.

The Photon Biovibe provides the harmonic frequencies that move lymphatic fluids and other fluids of the body. The unique frequencies and electromagnetic energies correct the electrical imbalances in the body and produce positive electrical and energetic imprints to the living organism called the “Microzyma”. It also allows the user to experiment with RIFE frequency technology that is far superior to the pad type devices or limited frequency plasma tube devices previously offered by incorporating external, pre-recorded RIFE frequency sets that are of specific durations. All of the Rife frequency sets we provide are taken from the most current RIFE frequency lists. Just pick the appropriate CD for the health challenge that you are dealing with.

It is now widely accepted and understood that all life is governed by electromagnetic fields that interact precisely with each other. Each of us is a energetic universe unto ourselves. Within that universe lie infinite fields of force that are constantly being influenced, changed, and continually fluctuating. Human beings speak of being impressed or making an impression, little realizing that this is much more than an emotional response. It is a physical and energetic fact.

Our lives are governed by impressions: those we give and those we receive and process, or fail to process properly. When we receive and fail to process out bad, harmful, or negative impressions, our energy field undergoes a change for the worst and detrimental, negative forces are unleashed, undermining the harmony and balance of our body and well-being. If this goes unchecked and uncorrected, or is compounded, disease conditions will ensue.

Professor Bechamp also stated that immunity or susceptibility is the capacity of the living organism to resist a detrimental or negative impression, whether from external or internal causes or agents. It is the influence of the internal or external causes or agents that produce the order of events which produce the physiological impression on the living cells and the life particle, the “Microzyma”.

Since the “Microzyma” are capable of an impression or imprint, they create in our systems either an environment of health, which provides for our well-being and ultimate health, or with improper and negative impressions, a destructive order of events that does not allow the cells to survive, thus causing disease and decay in the body. When the degenerative cycle commences, all manner of illness can ensue ranging from fatigue to cancer.

Electrotherapy Chronology

46AD (Ancient Rome) – Scrihonius Largus describes the use of torpedo fish (aquatic animals capable of electrical discharge) for medical applications. The live black torpedo when applied to the painful area relieves and permanently cures some chronic and intolerable protracted headaches… carries off pain of arthritis… and eases other chronic pains of the body.”

1600 (England) – William Gilbert, physician to Queen Elizabeth, published De Magnete, in which he describes the use of electricity in medicine. Gilbert re-discovers that when certain materials are rubbed, they will attract light objects – originally known to be true of Amber by the ancient Greeks. He coins the name ‘electricity’ from the Greek ‘electron’ for amber.

1743 (Germany) – Krueger, a Professor of Medicine, suggests in lectures that electricity might be used in the treatment of paralysis.

1745 (Germany) – Kratzenstein publishes a book on electrotherapy. He details a method of treatment which consists of seating the patient on a wooden stool, electrifying hint by means of a large revolving frictional glass globe and then drawing sparks from him through the affected body parts.

1780 (Italy) – Galvani, Professor of Anatomy at the University of Bologna, first observes the twitching of muscles under the influence of electricity (prepared from the leg of a frog). Galvani then proves that atmospheric electricity, as manifested in lightning, will produce the same effects on muscular movement.

1800 (Italy) – Carlo Matteucci shows that injured tissue generates electric current.

1840 (England) – England’s first electrical therapy department is established at Guy’s Hospital, under Dr. Golding Bird. The electrical discovery of Galvano leads to the use of mechanically pulsed Galvanic currents.

1860 (England) – The start of Faradic Stimulation. Bristow develops the Bristow Coil, using Faraday’s principle of electro-magnetically controlling the voltage of electricity.

1891 (USA) – Nikola Tesla presents a paper in ‘Electrical Engineer’, about the medical application of high frequency currents. He notes that when the body is transversed by alternating currents above a certain frequency, heat is perceived.

1891 (France) – D’Arsonval, in a communication to the Societe de Bioloaie, shows that a high frequency current (greater than l 0,000Hz) can be passed through the body without producing any sensation other than heat. D’Arsonval demonstrates the ability of high frequency currents to modify physiological processes, including: respiratory exchange, dilation of peripheral blood vessels, arterial blood pressure.

1900 (Worldwide) – The electrical discoveries of Galvano, Faraday and Tesla were therapeutically adopted by activating the electrical phenomena of the human body with the use of Galvanic, Sinusoidal and Faradic currents. These become the standard methods of applying Electrical Body Stimulation. There becomes a preference to use the more comfortable and less hazardous Faraday method.

1908 (Germany) – Von Berndt, Von Priess and Von Zeyneck publish a paper on the treatment of joint disease by high frequency currents.

1929 (Russia) – Lakhovsky publishes his book “The Secret of Life”. Conducts studies and concludes that cells possess resistance, capacitance, and inductance and function like tuned resonant circuits, capable of resonating to a resonant frequency when exposed to a range of frequencies.

1930’s (Germany) – Interferential currents are developed. Two alternating, medium frequency sinewave current paths are crossed to give pulsed low frequency modes of electrical stimulation. Interferential currents are much more comfortable than anything else available at the time.

1938 (USA) – Clinics are opened in San Diego, Los Angeles and Pasadena, California. Phenomenal results are reported. A Special Medical Research Committee is organized at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles to oversee and manage Rife’s “energy medicine” research and clinical success with a variety of disease conditions including cancer. The San Diego Evening Tribune reports that Rife’s “energy medicine” has successfully destroyed the microbes associated with cancer and other diseases. The newspaper articles are cautious but optimistic.

1950’s – 1990’s (Russia) – ‘Russian Stimulation’ is developed – 4,000Hz tone bursts, 50% ON, 50% OFF, alternating currents with 50 tone bursts per second. This is used by athletes for building muscle and increasing power.

1970’s (USA) – Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) is acknowledged as a viable method of pain management by America’s Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Many American companies begin production of TENS devices. The heart pacemaker is developed.

1970’s (England & Canada) – Melzak and Wall propose the ‘Pain Control Gate’ theory, by which strong afferent nerve stimulation by chemical, mechanical or electrical means overrides painful sensations at hypothetical pain control ‘gates’ in the spinal cord.

1970’s & 80’s (Sweden) – Clinical researchers Ericsson and Sjolund publish a series of articles in various scientific and medical journals. They compare constant, high frequency TENS to bursts of high frequency TENS (termed acupuncture-like TENS), finding that the latter offers better pain relief and does in fact instigate a release of endorphins into the bloodstream.

1981 (USA) – Becker publishes “The Body Electric”. Challenges the established mechanistic understanding of the body. Finds clues to the healing process in the theory that electricity is vital to life.

1991 (Germany) — Nobel Prize recipients Erwin Neher and Bert Sakmann developed a technique that detects electrical currents of a trillionth of an Ampere in the membranes of the cell, establishing the existence of ion channels.

2000 – (USA) John McDonald of Washington University uses intensive applications of Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) to exercise the muscles of a quadriplegic of 8 years. The patient defies medical science by regaining limited sensation and movement in his body. The regimen includes 2 hours of EMS and hydrotherapy weekly.
